SippTech launched in 2017 with the goal of delivering the first structurally and fully independent Class IV rehabilitation process for large diameter pressure pipe. The main operations were originally established in Jacksonville, FL. The rehabilitation design concept was to create a composite “pipe within a pipe”. This methodology and process was created by Kent Weisenberg and is called Manufactured In-Place Composite Pipe (MICP). MICP is a composite system containing two polymeric systems with helically applied carbon fiber reinforcement.
SippTech has designed and fabricated application robots that provide a minimally evasive, efficient, quality controlled and safe rehabilitation process. In 2021 SippTech relocated to Wichita, KS to focus on enhancements to the robotic system and commercialization efforts.
