Kent Weisenberg

Current Board Member & Former Chief Technology Officer

Kent Weisenberg is considered a leading subject matter expert in pipeline renewal technologies. He has championed the pipeline renewal and repair industry for over 25 years with the innovative design, engineering and implementation of robotics, materials, and methodologies. Kent is the named inventor of 50 US and foreign patents and he and the SippTech team received Underground Construction Technologies (UCT’s) 2018 ‘Show Stopper’ award for most innovative pipeline technology for MICP. Kent serves as an industry advisor to the US Department of Energy and is a Co-creator of the National Renewable Energy Laboratory’s (NREL) American Made Challenge (AMC) program. He also serves as technical chair for multiple  American Society of Testing and Materials (ASTM) standards  as well as an active member of American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME), American Petroleum Institute (API) and Engineers Without Borders (EWB). Kent is currently working as consultant to the SippTech team.
